If you wish to be considered for an assistantship, please contact the department to which you are applying. Certain departments have specific applications for assistantships. Graduate teaching assistantships and graduate research assistantships are initiated by the department chairperson, and graduate service assistantships are initiated by the service unit administrator. International applicants who are non-native speakers of English are required to take the TSE (Test of Spoken English) and achieve a minimum score of 50 before an assistantship involving either lecture or laboratory assistance will be offered.
