The Department of Energy's Computational Science Graduate Fellowship.

The Department of Energy offers a Computational Science Graduate Fellowship for students in science or engineering who are utilizing high performance computing to solve complex problems in the field.  This is a fantastic opportunity which provides up to four years of funding at $32,400 per year, plus payment of tuition and fees, workstation purchase assistance, yearly conference attendance, and a research practicum in a DOE lab.  

Applications are due on January 14, but, as with any national competitive funding program, winning applications will require weeks or months of preparation.
